Although the exposed brickwork and industrial columns of the original plant’s exterior have been preserved, the interior of the hotel is full of modern designs like purple cubist sofas, rough granite walls, and glass-floored balconies.One of the hotel’s most impressive features is its roof top bar which runs parallel to a long glass-walled swimming pool. By day Hotel La Purificadora’s bar is perfect for lounging in the sun, voyeu istically watching swimmers pass by. But by night the vibe is totally different. After dark the bar becomes one of Puebla’s hottest spots to see-and be-seen. The local elite order up the bar’s signature cocktail- a mixture of mandarin, pineapple, and Curaçao.”

“Designer Hanna Sandstrom has been working with Green Fortune & Whirlpool to create a refrigerator concept that does almost all of the work for you. This works with herbs and greens only and takes your seeds and turns them into full grown plants. It’ll even do the watering for you automatically. Plus with the window on the front it’d give your kitchen a much more lively look. There aren’t any details on this becoming a reality, but we can always hope.”
