Legoland

Hello everyone.

My Fella was at Lego land and fell upon this beauty.

It's my new scale.

Clearly the best present ever.

Sorry for lack of post yesterday - I was out of town. Laptopless.

But...I'm back!!

Let us begin...

MILK IN A BAG AT SAINSBURY’S

Instead of picking up their milk in a plastic bottle, customers will be encouraged to pop a bag of the liquid into their trolley. Using 75 per cent less packaging, the bags cost slightly less than the bottles. A two pint milk bag – the only size available – costs 80p, compared with 86p for the same size bottle. The supermarket insisted the bags are very robust and no customers have complained about the bags splitting since they first went on test two years ago. Sainsbury's estimated that 3 per cent of its 24 million weekly customers, the equivalent of 720,000 shoppers, have already switched to regularly using bags.”

THE FIZZ – SCREW ON ICE CREAM FLOAT

David Chodosh is the inventor of The Fizz™ and created The Fizz™ as a way to put a fun new spin on an all-American classic: the root beer float. He sought a way to simplify the process of making a soda float, at the same time making it more fun to drink. His concept was to devise a “mixing chamber” that would separate the ingredients and allow the float drinker to mix them as desired, and also make it fun visually as the soda mixes with the ice cream to create an eruption of foam. After many experiments and prototypes, he arrived at design that was both innovative and easy to produce.”

RECIPE CALCULATOR

"It can calculate recipe scaling to create less or more servings as well as deal with portion sizing. Plus it will even do measurement conversions between US and foreign weights or measures. Then if you need to do some normal math it’s also capable of those types of calculations. If you need a spare timer, it has one built into it for those times when you have multiple things going at once. If you’d like to remember those recipe sizes for future use, it has a memory function for that as well."

ALARM CLOCKS

To turn this alarm off you have to get up and step on it. I’d place it as far away from your bed as possible for the best results lol.

This alarm clock conception is good for couples who need to wake up at different times. Instead of waking with sound, it uses a wireless vibrating ring, which will allow a sleeping partner to continue sleeping undisturbed. It could also be a great help to the hearing impaired.

The alarm will go off and I’m sure you’ll hit snooze and go back to sleep- what’s the catch? This alarm clock’s propeller will shoot up and across the room a few minutes after you hit sleep - and the alarm will continue to go off until you get up, find the propeller, and place it back on top.

Won’t turn off until you do a certain amount of reps. Sounds like torture to me!!

The alarm clock goes off, the pillow slowly lights up and becomes brighter and brighter which is supposed tos lowly wake you up from your sleep.

First it will ring and tap it’s arms – but if you hit the snooze button – this little guy will throw a tantrum, ring like crazy, pound his fists, and give you a pretty big headache.

The only way to shut this bad boy off is with a lazer pointer. I guess you're s.o.l. if you have bad aim lol.

DANNY MASTERSON

[[Today’s recipe]]

CHEERIO TREATS

(Quick note: Always be prepared to get a little messy when using marshmallows)

::Ingredients::

3 tablespoons margarine or butter

6 cups miniature marshmallows (10.5 oz bag)

½ cup peanut butter

5 cups cheerios

::Directions::

-Grease 13x9 inch pan

-In a very large bowl melt margarine in the microwave (20-35 seconds)

- Remove from the microwave, add marshmallows to the large bowl and toss with the margarine

-Put back into the microwave for 1 ½ minutes (or until smooth when stirred)

-Quickly stir in peanut butter ; the faster you do the better – because the heat from the marshmallows and butter soften the peanut butter.

- Immediately add the cereal

- Mix well: or until the peanut butter and marshmallow have covered the cheerios completely. (The marshmallow should have a stringy like texture to it.)

- Using a greased spatula or wax paper, press this mixture into the prepared pan.

-Cool.

-Cut into squares or whatever shapes you so choose!

ENJOY!
