Important package..

Helloooooo everyone!
How are you doing on this fine Saturday?
I'm doing just swell thanks!

I don't have much time to update before work today, so I'm going to try and make this beginning monologue quite quick.....

Do you know what today is.......?

It's Pancake Saturday that's what!!!!!!

I hope at least one of you celebrated this weeks Pancake Saturday with a big ol stack of delicious pancakes! I on the other hand didn't wake up early enough to make pancakes this morning.

On a typical weekend I work from 2:30 in the afternoon til about 11:15 p.m. which means I don't get home until after midnight, and I don't go to sleep until about 1:30 a.m. A typical morning after a busy work night usually doesn't begin until 9 a.m. or so - which only gives me a few hours to do whatever it is I need to do before I leave for work yet again!

Lately, due to extremely busy weekend work nights such as these, I haven't been able to wake up in time to make pancakes like I used to. But it doesn't bother me too bad. Instead of being all sad about my lack of pancakes - I choose to improvise with another one of my favorite meals.

Today's "I didn't wake up early enough for pancakes so I made something else" breakfast consisted of:

Grilled peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwich - Vanilla Activia yogurt with raisins - Fat free milk - and a tall glass of my deliciously expensive Teavana tea :)

Words can not describe how delicious this breakfast combo is. I suggest you click the link above and figure out how you can make one of these breakfast delights yourself!!

After breakfast I made Spaghetti Salad.....

My cousin Katie is going to take the spaghetti salad with her to a family Easter party she is going to with her husband and kids. Unfortunately I am unable to go because I have to work in a couple of hours :( . Not only is she taking the spaghetti salad with her to the party, but she is also taking the cookies JD and I made the other day.

Spaghetti salad is one of my favorite side dishes of all time, and these german christmas cookies are a staple in my family's annual Christmas baketacular bakefest - so I made sure to set aside a few cookies and a little bit of spaghetti salad for myself ;) I can't be the only one who doesn't get to enjoy these delicious delights today!

Even though I can't partake in todays Easter party festivities- I'm glad I was able to contribute :)

I got a very important package in the mail today.....
