HAPPY 200TH POST CHRONICLES OF A CURLY HEAD!
I'm doing just splendid thank you! Seeing as this is my 200th blog post and all - I'm in an especially great mood! A little over one year and 200 posts later and I'm still here! Still going strong :) So thank you for those of you who have read all 200 posts, and been there since the very beginning. I work very very hard to keep this little thing I like to call 'Chronicles of a Curly Head' going, and thanks to you I have reason to show up every day! So it's your victory as much as it is mine!

But seeing as I couldn't make it to the beach I celebrated this monumental occasion with a brick of dark chocolate.... a delicious grilled peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwich for breakfast....and with my moms Applesauce cake for lunch!! You should celebrate as well! Perhaps with the aforementioned food items :D
I’ve been thinking a lot about CCH lately.....
::Brace yourself people - once I start talking it's hard to stop::
and I've come to a conclusion that I’ve reached many times before, but sort of forgot about it. What’s the conclusion? The conclusion being: I’m going to post something on CCH every single day no matter what. If I ever want to make “a job” out of this here blog (however the hell that’s going to happen lol) I have to post something, anything, at least once a day. No excuses.
For example: lets say I only have: a food clip, a curly head, and a kitchen gadget on hand that I want to share – instead of waiting a week until I find a restaurant, a song, and something random like I usually do – I’ll just go ahead and post the three categories I do have. So instead of each post being a mile long once a week – you’ll have shorter (errrr…maybe shorter lol) posts every day.
I go INSANE sitting behind my blog from 3-10 hours working on a post (yes I did say ten hours) I just can’t do that anymore lol. I have a job and other endeavors I have to put my time into. If blogging were my full time job I would be MORE than happy to sit here and talk all the live long day and just drive you guys nuts lol, but I can’t afford to do that right now.
::PHEW::
Time for me to bid you all farewell - I get tired of hearing myself talk all of the time……..ok who am I fooling…..it doesn’t bother me in the least bit ;)
HAPPY 200TH POST EVERYONE!!!!

WE HAVE SIGNAL: ST. VINCENT
I can’t get enough.
(1) LIVE FISH AND REPTILES SOLD AS KEYCHAINS IN CHINA
This is wrong. Just wrong….

Animal cruelty laws are almost non-existent in China. It was only just recently that the country banned animal in circuses where they are made to perform unimaginable tricks. Animal meat are also exotic entrees at zoo restaurants.
The country has a Wild Animal Protection Law which applies only to wild animals. Fishes and reptiles do not fall under this category and hence the law cannot protect them. Animal rights activists are voicing protests against the sale of these keyrings but without a law to back them there is little that can be done.

(2) INSPIRED BY ICELAND
This is how to properly promote a country.....
I'm sold - lets go to Iceland asap.
(3) EVERY DAY OBJECTS COME ALIVE - TERRY BORDER
(4) TEMPEST FRERUNNING ACADEMY
“This is a promo video for Tempest Freerunning Academy in California. It is dedicated to the growth and spread of freerunning and parkour and has a special Super Mario Bros area so gym-goers can feel like they are in the game. ”

(5) CAROLINE CASEY: LOOKING PAST LIMITS
When Caroline describes the moment when everything just clicked, and that she knew what she wanted, and that she had to do it no matter what….well…..I am all too familiar with that feeling. I’ve had that feeling many of times. And it feels freaking fantastic.
What an inspiration.....
(6) LUXURY PRIVATE ISLAND IN THE SEYCHELLES

(7) PILOBOLUS PERFORM “SYMBIOSIS”
I’m not going to lie –at first this performance kind of weirded me out lol, but about five minutes in I really started appreciating the strength, and flexibility of these two performing artists. The human body can do so many amazing things – it just baffles me.
(1) CADE ( PART 2 ) THE GOOD SLAUGHTER: A PROUD MEAT CUTTER SHARES HIS PROCESSING FLOOR
BUT I do strongly strongly suggest you watch it. If you’d like to see the proper way to butcher and process animals., then this is it. Larry Althiser is doing a job that not many people would do themselves, but a job that must be done. And I think it takes a very special person like Larry to slaughter animals in such a humane way...one of the most humane ways I've seen it done at least.
During culinary school my butchery class went to a slaughterhouse and witnessed this particular process first hand. It changed my life. I really think everyone should know where their meat comes from and how it gets from the farm to table.
Please watch. I believe it is imperative:
(2) HILAH COOKING: PASTA PRIMAVERA
(3) LATE SHOW: SHOE LOAF
THIS. IS. AWESOME.
(4) BIG EGG
(5) MCDONALD’S DIP DIP NUGETS
Lol.
(6) FARM TO SCHOOL? HOW ABOUT FARM TO TABLE SUMMER CAMP
This is beyond wonderful.
Watching the kids use knives without cut gloves made me really really nervous lol. I am aware that they are old enough to handle knives and that they are more than capable of using one.....but it still made me cringe while watching lol.
What an amazing experience this must've been for the kids. Not many young folk these days can say that they have these types of skills/this type of knowledge under their belt. More programs like this should exist.
