How are you doing on this fine Sunday? I'm doing great thank you!
My day has consisted of: lounging about, working on my blog, eating, drinking tea, napping, and watching movies galore! What a lovely Sunday it's been thus far :)
I just thought I would stop by, say a quick hello to all of you, and give an extra special shout out to today's leading lady - my mom!! Unfortunately I couldn't spend this Mother's Day with my mom, because she's in Ohio and I'm in Florida. I do believe if I were in Ohio I would've made her breakfast or something of that nature. I'll be sending something special in the mail real soon to make up for it!! Even though she asked me not to get her anything ;)
Just a handful of photographs taken of us Black women:
I could go on and on for days about how wonderful my mother is, how much she's done for me, how supportive/beautiful/loving/caring she is, how much she's taught me throughout the years, and how she always seems to put everyone else before herself - no questions asked. But I will just leave it at: I have the best mother I could possibly ask for in the whole world! I'm so thankful that she's my little Jill :D
I love you mom!!
Well, it's time for me to bid you all farewell!
Be sure to stop by tomorrow for a few product reviews, and perhaps a documented trip to Disney! Have a wonderful Sunday!
“If you liked Rebar's instant San Francisco park, you will love David Gallaugher's grass-lined wheel. He and three other Dalhousie architecture students built it to make a social statement- we need more green space. Their contraption is a way to "take the park with you" ..."We're looking at the idea of green space in the city," said grad student Kevin James. "Even in the Public Gardens [in Halifax, NS], you're not allowed to walk on the grass." People who were curious enough to ask one of the students what it was all about got slips of paper explaining the students' ideals."They're just really curious about it," said James. "And we get a lot of hamster jokes”
“Primarily serving as the street artist’s primary tool within the sprawling urban jungles, the spray can is as ubiquitous as the acrylic artwork it produces. Germany-based Montana Cans present a glimpse into their mesmerizing process of how such aerosol cans are birthed; from inception in the lab to subsequent production.”
