POM Wonderful!

Hellooooo everyone!
How are you doing today? I'm doing just fantastic!
I woke up about three hours later than I expected this morning (my bad lol) so I only have about five minutes until I have to get ready for work!

Similar to yesterday - I have just enough time to talk about a product I just purchased, and very little time for anything else! Within the next few days I will most definitely have ample amount of time to chit chat, and talk about my daily randomness (instead of only reviewing products) but until that day comes - I hope you enjoy the reviews! :)

Pom Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice

I went to the grocery store today in search of a new fruit and/or veggie juice blend for lunch. When I saw the wide variety of POM Wonderful juices on the shelves I just couldn't say no!

I will admit that I was a bit weary to try Pom Wonderful at first. But I can assure you there is a reason why this is referred to as 'Pom Wonderful'. The flavor is amazing! The pomegranate isn't too overpowering, and it doesn't make my teeth feel gritty/sugary like other fruit juices usually do.

Not only does this drink have an unbelievable flavor, but it also has beyond amazing health benefits! All of the Pom wonderful juices are: gluten-free, certified kosher, a good source of potassium, flash pasteurized to retain both nutrients and flavors, and contain absolutely no added sugars, preservatives, or colors!

Other juices include: POM Blueberry, POM Cherry, POM Mango, POM Kiwi, POM Nectarine, as well as a variety of POM Teas, POM Iced Coffee and POM Bars! This will not be the last time you hear me speak of this wonderful product/brand! There are just too many products I have yet to try! :)

As you can see Pom Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice is pretty much the holy grail of fruit juices. What are you waiting for? Go out and buy one now!!

Well it is time for me to bid you farewell.

I hope each and every one of you have a splendid day!

Treat your body with respect - it's the only one you have.

Let us begin....

[[Today’s news]]

(1) READY, AIM, FIRE THAT CRÈME BRULE

"One of the most appealing things about open kitchens — and the trend of letting the rest of us see into the inner machinery, the smoke and clash and vaguely militaristic operation of a restaurant — is the occasional flare and whoosh of fire. We are, most of us, secret pyromaniacs.

Watching a chef flambé something (a crepe, steak Diane, an apron) maintains the willing suspension of disbelief that professional cooking is, after all, a beautiful and possibly dangerous high-wire circus act and not just dinner.

But you don't have to be a professional chef to set things on fire, deliberately. Home cooks can light a match to a sauté pan or fire up a blowtorch to burn a layer of sugar across a crème brûlée as well as anybody. With a few simple precautions (cookbooks really should read like Scout manuals) and the right tools, you can have just as much fun playing with fire as Antonin Carême did lighting it up with his French kitchen brigade.

Along with a gas stove and a box of wooden matches, the best and definitely the most satisfying kitchen gear any closet kitchen pyro needs is a blowtorch. A real blowtorch, like one you'd imagine Robert Downey Jr. would use in his kitchen."

(2) LIFE IN A DAY

“On July 24, 2010, thousands of people around the world uploaded videos of their lives to YouTube to take part in Life in a Day, a historic cinematic experiment to create a documentary film about a single day on earth.

Directed by Oscar winner Kevin Macdonald, Life in a Day wowed audiences at the Sundance, Berlin and SXSW film festivals and during its YouTube world premiere in January. This summer, you'll be able to watch the movie in a theater near you.”

(3) SCOTT WEAVER’S ROLLING THROUGH THE BAY

“Rolling through the bay is an abstract toothpick sculpture of San Francisco. It has about 100,000 of toothpicks. The amazing part, is that is has four ping pong ball paths that roll through different landmarks of San Francisco. I have spent about 3000 hours on it over a period of 34 years and the only glue I use is Elmer’s.

I have used different brands of toothpicks depending on what I am building. I also have many friends and family members that collect toothpicks in their travels for me. For example, some of the trees in Golden Gate Park are made from toothpicks from Kenya, Morocco, Spain, West Germany and Italy. The heart inside the Palace of Fine Arts is made out of toothpicks people threw at our wedding.”
