Breakfast and pizza and Fred oh my!

Hellooooooooooooooo everyone!

How are you doing on this fine Friday?
I'm just great! Well - great besides the fact that I didn't wake up when my alarm went off at seven this morning :/ Drats! But it's ok - I'm not going to beat myself up about it. No harm done here! I still have enough time to update my blog, get dressed, eat, and be at a job interview by noon! Not to mention I'm SUPER rested from the ten hours of sleep I got lol. So let's get started so I can skedaddle to that interview......shall we?

This mornings breakfast regimen......

Two pieces of Rudis gluten free bread toasted and topped with chiaseeds, raisins, Sunbutter, almonds, and Mike's Hot Honey!

Followed by a cup of coffee and dark chocolate!

I ate dinner at my second favorite pizza place in Dayton yesterday (second to Marions Piazza of course)

The Flying Pizza has been a staple in my family for as long as I can remember. My mom had a major craving for FP yesterday (and it's been a grip since we've been there) so my mother father and I decided it would be best to swing by and have a few slices for dinner!

What would a slice of pizza be without a bag of Mike-sell's chips to go along with it? My fellow Ohioans/Daytonians (Daytonians? Lol) are probably thinking "F YEAH! Mike-sell's are the bomb diggidy!" (or not lol) and those of you who aren't native Ohioans/Daytonians are probably wondering "What are mike-sell's?" ::GASP:: What are Mike-sell's? OH BOY you are really missing out on one of the most delicious pieces of Dayton Ohio history! This particular potato chip company began one hundred years ago in the DYT and has been going strong ever since! You can find these chips just about everywhere. Gas stations, sandwich shops, grocery stores, etc.

What is my favorite Mike-sell's bag of chips?

It's no secret that I am in love with the Good 'n Hot potato chips! Holy Yum are they addictive!

Pizza time!!!!

Ordering both the neapolitan style pizza and sicilian square pizza is a must. (The left hand slice is just half of a sicilian square - my mother had the other half!)

I feel thinner already ;)

I'd like to shed a little light on one of my absolute favorite Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies......

It's no secret that I have a great love/mild obsession with Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, dance numbers, sing songs, old romance, and old Hollywood movies so very much. Prior to giving you a small insight into this giant love of mine - you must first watch the following clips from 'The Gay Divorcee'

1. Where are men like Fred located?

2. Fred Astaire makes me swoon like no other. His dancing, his singing, his charm, golly he's just the bees knees :)

3. Ginger looks absolutely gorgeous in this movie, and her outfits are to die for.

3. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Fred and Ginger have an undeniable chemistry that cannot be duplicated nor replicated. I've never seen any two people have such chemistry on screen like they do.

4. It's always so romantic when men are so persistent in Old Hollywood movies. They're always like "I love you! I need you! Let's sing, dance, embrace, kiss and then get married shortly after! Don't run away my darling! I need your sweet loving and your eyes like the moonlight! You are like a brisk walk by the beach! Don't go!" (which is what I love so much about these films) and the woman is usually coy at first but then has some sort of positive "I love you!" response afterwards. But if a man were to chase a woman around these days like a crazy in love stalker person with a ton of persistance - the woman would be freaked the F out lol. It hardly works in real life. But it ALWAYS works in old Hollywood films! ::Sigh:: just one of the many reasons why they're so magical.

5. The Continental dance number is amazing. I could watch it over and over and over again.

6. I was born in the wrong era. Plain and simple.

Well that's enough out of me today!

I hope each and every one of you have an amazing Friday. Get out there and do something fun with the people you love! Remember to always be kind to one another, and to treat your body with respect. Xoxoxoxo.
JennaB.

Let us begin....

(1) WOLF PARADE - I'LL BELIEVE IN ANYTHING

(2) BILLY JOEL - SHE'S ALWAYS A WOMAN

I've been told on numerous occasions that this song was written about/for me - which is ironic because it's one of my favorite songs. I could lie and say that isn't an accurate statement - but who am I kidding? Lol.
