Hellooooooooooo everyone!!
How are you doing on this glorious day? I'm doing magnificent thank you!
Even though it is well past my bedtime (almost 1 a.m.) and even though I'm quite tired from all of todays festivities, I feel the strongest urge to stay awake and and chat with all of you!
I always enjoy writing my posts late at night (which I rarely get the chance to do) because it really allows me to reflect on my entire day and all of the wonderful/stupid/funny things I did up until then. Take today for example..........
You might as well listen to this perfect song whilst perusing through the rest of todays post....
I'm Home!!!

Side Note: This is the tannest I've been in about twelve years lol.
Yes ladies and gentlemen - I survived the fifteen hour drive from Orlando FL all the way up to Dayton OH. My father and I left FL at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and pulled up to my house in OH at about 11:30 a.m. on Monday. We made great time! I drove the first five hours, then my dad drove the next six, and then I drove the last six. It was exhausting to say the least, but the time really flew by! I didn't feel like I was in the car as long as I was. Thank goodness we got home safe and sound.

The weather in Ohio was absolutely BEAUTIFUL when I finally reached my house Monday morning. We picked the absolute perfect day to drive home. I felt as if the world was saying "Welcome home Jenna. You deserve this weather. Thank you for being awesome. Keep on keepin on girlfran. Enjoy." How did I respond to this wonderful gesture/gift from the great beyond? By rolling around in the grass, taking pictures of my home, and skipping around in circles.......minus the rolling and skipping part........oh who am I kidding. I rolled and skipped for quite some time in my giant backyard lol.
My welcome home committee........
Awwwwwww would you just look at that wittle itty bitty face!!!

I missed my Ginger oh so much when I was gone. She was my Christmas present when I was eight years old for crying out loud! Ginger is by far the greatest present I've ever received. Unfortunately my twelve year old puppydawg has gotten pretty sick due to a very serious heart condition, and has lost quite a bit of weight and energy since I moved to FL. According to the vet she's not supposed to make it much longer, but according to me - she's never going to die. We're just two peas in a pod Ginger and I. Except for the fact that one of us likes to be photographed and the other one doesn't. I'll give you one guess who doesn't......

Welcome home candy.....
My favorite!
Some of you are probably wondering "What was the very first thing you did when you got home Jenna?
And I'd probably say "If you have to ask......then you don't know me very well at all." Then there are those of you who know me better than myself, and probably figured I was going to do this before I even did........
Only a few hours after I got home, and prior to unpacking any of my belongings, I went to my favorite restaurant for dinner - Taqueria Mixteca!
Weezie and J-Anne as I like to call them :)
(My best friend came as well, but I do not have photographic evidence to prove it lol)
Pimped my meal right fast.

Don't let this last one fool you.
I inhaled the entire dish in record time.
So satisfying.
I went to Goodwill today.......

And I bought these rad shades for $2!
Made a quick trip to Trader Joe's to buy a bouquet of flowers for a special lady......

But I thought this one was much more suitable for the occasion.
What type of occasion and what special lady am I talking about?
My hairstylist/beautifier extraordinaire opened up her very own salon!!!

I usually get my hair trimmed and shaped up every three months, but seeing as I haven't been home since January my head looks like the rain forest. You're probably thinking "why didn't you get your hair cut in Florida" this is because my stylist, Mary, has been cutting my hair for over ten years and I honestly don't trust anyone else with my hair lol.

'Tangles' hair salon opened in Kettering OH about one week ago. I swung my curly self on over today to give Mary a bouquet of "YAAAAAAY!!! You opened your own place and you're so totally awesome" flowers - and to get my curly head trimmed and shapped up as well!

I absolutely love every single aspect of this new salon. I love the colors, the retro magazine covers on the walls, the floor tiles, the waiting room, the coffee, the women that work there, the environment, etc. If you live in the Dayton Ohio area, and you're in need of a new stylist and/or salon- I highly recommend going to Tangles.

If you do indeed need hair care assistance or a beautyfier extraordinaire - ask for Mary and tell her that Jenna Black sent you!

Thanks for making my curly head what it is today Mary.
You're awesome :)
I took a little drive around the downtown area today.....

In the span of six months I've forgotten which streets are one way and which aren't. You'd think I'd read the signs or something....but no....I had a few scares lol.
I couldn't resist the hungry Ohioan within today......

I just had to have a cheese coney from Skyline!
I was craving it so badly just about the entire time I lived in FL. Which is pretty strange because it's not like I ate Skyline very when I lived in Ohio before, maybe once every three months or so. It's just one of those things that you crave because you're no longer around it. Catch my drift?
For those of you who have absolutely no idea what Skyline Chili is then it's clear you are not a native Ohioan. Putting chili and cheese on hot dogs and spaghetti is an Ohio thing for sure. Similar restaurants include Gold Star Chili and another one of my favorites that I've featured on my blog before - Camp Washington Chili!
A yummy greek salad with lite Italian dressing and....

One Cheese Coney: A hot dot in a steamed bun, with mustard, original secret recipe chili, diced onions, and a giant mount of cheesy goodness. I feel thinner already ;)
After dinner I made "Welcome home Jenna" appletinis......

I'm pretty much going to put "Welcome Home" before every single thing I do for the next few weeks. There will be welcome home Jenna bikerides, welcome home Jenna shopping sprees, welcome home Jenna pancakes, etc. So get used to it people!!

I made three glasses of this poisinous looking concoction, and took it out front to my mother and sister. We sat on our front lawn and drank our drinks while my sister pulled weeds out of our grass.....probably the most redneck sounding thing I've done in my entire life lol. But I'm not going to lie - it was quite enjoyable.

I finally have proof that my giant spider legs are way longer than the rest of my body.
Cheers to a great couple of days with the fam, and cheers to my finally being home!!
It is time I bid you all farewell.....

I am getting extremely tired and it's becoming increasingly difficult to stay awake with each passing minute. I hope you guys enjoyed todays post as much as I enjoyed writing it! Please be nice to one another and try your very best to treat your body with respect - it's the only one you have after all! Have a wonderful day everyone :)
xoxoxoxo - Jenna
