Chronicles of a Curly Head: Burn Baby Burn

Hellooooooo everyone!

How are you doing on this fine day?

I'm fantastic thank you!

I only have a few minutes to update, because I woke up late (damn it lol) and I must be on my way to work!

Speaking of work you should check out the new pictures of our food on Olives Facebook page! We've been working really hard to make the best food possible, and I'm very happy to see the handful of photographs that are a result of that!

Speaking of working really hard - I burned myself when I was rushing around at work just the other day.......

It didn't hurt too bad - that is until I ripped it open against the three compartment sink.....

This ladies and gentlemen is what we restaurant industry folk like to call "earning our stripes" yep....I appear to be well on my way lol. I'd rather burn myself then cut myself any day. I'm sure most industry people would agree.

My mother cut off an aloe leaf from our aloe plant and gave it to me to put on my burn before I went to bed last night. Thank goodness for that plant it most certainly helped with the pain aspect. Double thank goodness that the burn wasn't as bad as it could've been. I've seen terrible burns in the kitchen and I'm just glad mine was as minor as it is. But hey - it gave me something to talk about for a quick second today didn't it? Lol.

Well it's time for me to be on my way to work!
