Happy August!

Helloooooooooo everyone!

How have you been doing these last few days? I've been absolutely fantastic thank you! I'm so sorry I haven't had time to post these past couple of months, I've been such a busy busy bee I haven't had time to stop and breathe let alone blog!

I've been thinking a lot lately about how much has changed since I moved back home. I formulated a list and have come to the realization that literally every single aspect of my life is completely different than it was in May. I'm not complaining about these changes, I'd say every single one of them are changes for the better!

Examples: When I lived in Florida I didn't have many friends, when I moved home I came back to a whole pack of people I missed and left behind. When I lived in Florida I had loads of time to blog, and I did every day, but in Ohio I barely have any time to and I blog maybe a few times a week. When I worked at Walt Disney World they only scheduled me two MAYBE three times a week, and now I work at Olive, an Urban Dive almost every single day.

Times are changing and I'm just doing my best to roll along with it! This summer has been so hectic, fun, and busy that it flew by way faster than I can even recall. I mean geezie lapetes it's already August!!

It would appear that I have put CCH on the backburner this summer......which lets face it - I kind of have, but that doesn't mean that I'm not feverishly formulating tons and tons of ideas of what I'm going to do with this little web site. I have plans. Big plans. But these plans require money, so I must continue to work like a little worker bee so I can have money to do all of the things I want to do with CCH. Be patient my friends - I can assure you that a time will come when I will be here talking my head off all day everyday :)

But that's a discussion for another day because as always I don't have much time to talk seeing as I have to be at work in thirty minutes (go figure lol)! I thought it might be nice to relive a post I wrote a while back so that you guys had something to read today! The post went a little like this......

A lot of bloggers have posted an “ABC’s of Me” game.....

and I find it to be fantastic! They are so much fun to read, so I figured they would be just as much fun to fill out. Here it goes!

A: Age: 20

B: Bed Size: Queen. It seems much larger though because I’m the only one sleeping in the bed.

C: Chore you hate: Waking up in the morning. Waking up is definitely a chore for me. Don’t get me wrong – I am a morning person to my very core. The morning is my absolute favorite time of day. I am a big ol ray of sunshine in the morning I can assure you..... I just have to step out of bed for it to happen lol.

D: Dogs: I had one dog- Ginger. She passed away recently and I'm still very sad about the whole ordeal :(

E: Essential start to your day: Breakfast and dark chocolate

F: Favorite color: Blue or purple. It’s not like it’s a tie between the two or anything like that, it's just that I just feel different about the colors on different days. So whichever comes to mind first when I’m asked a question like this is my favorite color. Today it’s purple......lol.

G: Gold or silver: Silver

H: Height: 5’4

I: Instruments you play: I played the flute all throughout middle school and high school. And my dad started giving me piano lessons last summer (or was it the summer before?) and then I sort of stopped out of no where- I’m not sure why. My father has been a professional musician since his early twenties. He plays a number of instruments besides the piano, including flute and saxophone. He is currently in several jazz bands, plays piano at a night club, and teaches lessons at a music store back home. What I’m getting at is - he is a very talented musician to say the least, and knows what he is talking about…. so I probably should’ve kept on going with the lessons when he told me I was showing signs of being a piano protégé…....i was an idiot lol.

J: Job title: Cook at Olive, an Urban Dive

K: Kids: Someday.... preferably a time when I don't still feel like a kid myself.

L: Live: In a suburb of Dayton, Ohio

M: Moms name: Jill

N: Nicknames: Jen, JB, miss Jenna, little J and Jblizzy. Only my family and best friend call me Jen…..and I’m the only one who calls myself Jblizzy lol. It’ll catch on one day I tell you!!!! ONE DAY!!!!

O: Overnight hospital stays: None

P: Pet Peeve: People who chew with their mouths wide open for the world to see and hear. OMG it's like nails on a chalkboard.

Q: Quote from a movie: “This house is clean”

R: Right or left handed: Right, but every day I mix it up while completing mundane tasks, such as brushing my teeth, with my left hand. This keeps my brain young.

S: Siblings: One older sister – Julianne

T: Time you wake up: I always set my alarm for 7 a.m. I'm usually very good at waking up when my alarm goes off, unless i get home at three a.m. the night before which is usually when my mom steps and wakes me up. Gotta love living with your parents lol.

U: Underwear: Anything from American Eagle. I don’t necessarily like the clothing sold at AE, but for some odd reason I prefer the underwear there over any other store.

V: Vegetables you dislike: Brussel sprouts. Now don't get me wrong, I've literally force fed myself tons of foods that I didn't care for in an attempt to make myself a less picky eater - and didn't stop force feeding myself until I liked them. This usually works for me. You must be thinking "why on earth would you force feed yourself something? Is it even possible to force feed oneself?" Yes it is possible, and I do it because I don't like being a person who dislikes food - I want to like everything. Sooooooo get to the point jenna - basically what I'm saying is I've tried to force feed myself brussel sprouts time and time again, but nothing works. I fear I will never enjoy brussel sprouts. What a shame.

W: What makes you run late: Other people. I HATE being late. I mean HATE it with an undying passion. I am the type of person who leaves an hour earlier than need be – to ensure that I’ll be at my destination on time. Being late stresses me out like no other. I'd rather sit in my car for 45 minutes listening to music just passing the time because I'm too early than show up ten minutes late. So when I’m late – it’s very very rarely my fault....and if it is...its because I was having a solo dance party in my room and lost track of time :/

X: X-Rays you’ve had: Dental x-rays. Nothing serious. Just gotta keep my teeth in their tip to condition :)

Y: Yummy food you make: PANCAKES!!!!!!!!!!!

Z: Zoo – favorite animal: Okapi – the Okapi is my favorite animal of all time hands down. The Okapi is one of the most amazing, beautiful, and mysterious animals there is. I have a stuffed Okapi named “Oscar Oswald” in my car that my best friend gifted to me on my birthday a few years back. Oscar sits on my console and keeps me safe when I drive JSometimes I’ll go to work early and watch the Okapi graze at the safari behind the hotel. Yes…the hotel I work at has a real life safari behind it – with giraffes, zebras, Okapi’s, etc. J HOW COOL IS THAT???(the answer being: “sooooo cool Jenna!!! So very cool!") That's Disney for you lol. Always one upping everyone else.
