(1) SPOKEN WORD POETRY

I have a very strong passion for spoken word poetry. This is a passion of mine that I’ve never shared with anyone up until now. I stumbled upon spoken word poetry years ago on YouTube and haven’t stopped watching it since. I feel like I'd be a very good spoken word poet, I speak fairly quickly, I have a way with words so to speak, I don't really get nervous in front of people, and I have a lot to say/get off my chest.....maybe I should give it a go.

Let me teach those of you who don't have snow every year a little lesson.

Pay close attention.......

Living in the mid west is not a fun place to be when the snow starts falling.

When it first snows everyone is all like "Omg! Snow!!! WOOOOO!!!! FUCK YEA!!!! Let's build a snow man! Let's go sledding! It's so beautiful! Let's have a snow ball fight! I'm going to tweet/ post on Facebook how much I love the snow! I'll post so many pictures of me doing wintery things!!! Let's drive around and look at all of the lights! WOOOOOO! "

Fast forward two weeks "Fuck Ohio. Fuck this snow. I hate driving in it. I hate looking at it. I hate stepping in it. I hate being cold. I don't want to leave my house. I don't want to clean my fucking car one more time. Oh....are you kidding me? My door is frozen shut? Are you kidding me? I'm going to tweet/write on Facbook about how much I hate the snow, and how I want to move to Florida. Yea I'm going to post about how much I hate the snow EVERY SINGLE DAY, and annoy the shit out of everyone around me. Of course I slipped and fell in the parking lot at work this moring what did I expect? Fuck this."

Perhaps my language is a bit more foul than others....but you get the picture.
